God

There is one God. He has existed since before time began: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Sovereign Creator. He is the Unchanging One. He is a personal God wanting a relationship with His people. God has no beginning or end. “In the beginning God”(Gen.1:1). He is one in essence and character, yet He is three distinct persons, which are eternally one. The Great I am which was and is and is to come.

God the Father Protects His children, (Philippians 4:19). He provides for His children, (Matthew 10:29-31). He encourages His children, Psalm 10:17). He comforts His children, ( II Corinthians 1:3-4). He disciplines His children, ( Hebrews 12:10). He answers His childrens requests, ( John 14: 16-17). He delights in giving good things, Luke 11:13, Ephesians 1:3). He loves unconditionally, (John 3:16, Psalm 103:13,17). He Praised His Son at His baptism, (Matthew 3:16-17). He has a plan for everyone, (Philippians 2:13). He is longsuffering and plenteous in mercy, (Ezekiel 33:11). His mercy is great, ( Luke 6:36, I Corinthians 16:34, I John 1:9, II Peter 3:9, II Samuel 24:14, Daniel 9:9,, Duet. 4:31, Joel 2:13, Lamentations 3:22, Numbers 14:18). The Perfect example of a Father.

Christ

Jesus Christ is God, the second person of the Trinity. He is Eternal. He is 100% fully divine, revealed to us through his fulfillment of over 300 prophecies. He was praised and worshiped by the angels at his birth. He was declared God by the Father, He was declared God by the demons. He shows His divinity through His many mighty works. He showed His power over sin, demons and death itself. He was 100% fully human. He was born of a virgin in fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy. And He is Alive and ever liveth to make intercession for believers.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God; the third person of the Trinity. He is not just a thing, a power, a force, or an idea. He is as much a person as God the Father and God the Son. He was sent from the Father to glorify the Son. He is the Comforter that indwells every believer. He is the One that convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, actions that are God’s alone. He is the seal of every believer until the day of redemption. He empowers every believer with the gifts of the Spirit. He sanctifies us to walk in newness of life. He is our teacher. He guides us into all truth. He takes us to a deeper understanding of His Word. And as the Holy Spirit He helps the christian to become holy, more like God. And Has been these many years my friend.

The Word of God

The Bible is the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, that God breathed out through 40 authors over 1,500 years. They are complete. There is no waiting for extra revelations from God, to fulfill His Word. The Scriptures are and always should be the Christians sole authority for faith and practice. They do not need to be added to with the traditions, logic, or religions of man. They are plenary: full, entire, absolute. They are inerrant: containing no error. As they were divinely given by God through man, we can trust that there are no mistakes. They are infallible: incapable of failing, certain. We know that God has preserved His Word for this generation, and for all those who have gone on before, and for all those who will come hereafter. We know that the Bible is to be taken Literally. The clear and plain must be interpreted as clear and plain and figures of speech should be read as such. Men and women of today, or any day, need to cease from trying to change God's Word to fit their lifestyles, or pet sins, and in turn need to embrace the transformative power of the Cross of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Psalm 119; Matthew 5:18; 24:35; Luke 24:44-47; John 16:12, 13; 17:19; 10:35; Romans 9:17; 10:1-4; 11:2; II Timothy 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:20, 21; Hebrews 4:12;

Man

Man was created in the image of God; perfect and sinless, to have fellowship with Him. However, through an active choice of disobedience, listening to that old serpent the devil, they, Adam and Eve, rebelled against God and brought sin and death into this world. This severed their relationship with God and brought sin and death to all creation. As God created man, He made them male and female, and that is it. He made them after HIs likeness and in His image. He, God, is the source of all life, and breathed into man a living soul. This shows that man has a physical and spiritual nature; special and unique in all of God’s creation. When God created man He said it was very good, and gave to man a free will to choose right and wrong. When man disobeyed the body remained alive, but the spirit died. From that moment on God’s plan of redemption was set into motion.

The Church

The church is a called out assembly of believers. She is the Body and Bride of Christ. She is the flock of God. He, Jesus, is head over all. She is to be salt and light, the primary presentation of Christ to the World. A local, tangible, expression of Christ. She is the pillar and ground of the truth, made up of born again, baptized believers in Christ. She is God’s plan to reach a lost and dying world with the Gospel in this day and age. As the body of Christ, each and every member is important and valuable to the whole. When one member of the body refrains from participating it hurts the whole body, and leaves that member susceptible to deceitfulness of sin and the destructiveness of the devil.

Salvation

Salvation is the free gift of God to all mankind through our Lord Jesus Christ alone. It is through the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross, by the shedding of His own Blood, for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. We are saved by grace through faith with no power of our own. We are kept by the power of God and His promise to man. We are then sealed by the Holy Spirit. The promise of salvation runs as a scarlet thread through the Scriptures. It is described and explained in many ways. All of them true and containing amazing realities for the believer. Upon trusting Christ we are Adopted, Atoned, Born Again, Delivered, Forgiven, Justified, made Alive, made a New Creation, Pardoned, received the Propitiation for our sins, Regenerated, Redeemed, Reconciled, Substituted for Christ, Washed, and one day Glorified in the presence of God. The promise everlasting.

Music

Concerning music all that the Christian does should be to the glory of God and nothing else, (I Corinthians 10:31). The life of the believer should reflect the Holiness of God, (I Peter 1:14-16), Our music should be controlled by the Spirit of God, (Galatians 5:16). It should be proven acceptable unto God, (Ephesians 5:10).

Music is moral. Leaving the words aside, music itself conveys a message. Some secular artists have said that “of course music has morality, I want my music to portray sex, drugs, and rebellion.” Music is not just a matter of personal taste, because taste can be wrong. If someone has a taste in literature for profane, immoral books it is wrong. If someone has a drive toward violence then their personal taste is wrong. The same goes for music. If someone's personal taste is bent towards music that promotes wickedness, anger, wrath, hatred, immorality, or a rebellious spirit, it is wrong. If music is bent towards selfishness and an anti-God nature, it is wrong, and is no longer a matter of “taste”. Therefore we should abstain from carnal Christian music in all of its facets.

There has been a shift in the music of the church for the past several decades. It has been one of compromise and worse. Christian music should be pure: God centered music that elevates and glorifies God and not man. Many have made the shift to man centered “christian music”, with a shallow theology that says “let’s just love everyone and forget doctrine in our worship.” It is music of the flesh. A self-centered “christian” music for a self centered world. It is fleshly, sensual devilish. Christian music should not uplift man, but God. It should not be sensual in music, lyrics, or singing style. We have poisoned the churches music with worldly philosophies, and it is slowly killing churches. People don’t want to think when it comes to their music, they just want to feel. The Devil loves to see churches weaken and fall to worldly music in the Church and at home. These same principles of glorifying God through holiness, purity, and Spirit control.

Statement of Faith

Worship

True worship is centered on God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We are to lift up the Great I Am, in all that we do. It is not just an action at church but a lifestyle of honoring, loving and yielding to the King of kings and Lord of lords. We can worship in song, in praise, in prayer, and through the Word, as we express our gratitude for all that He has done for us.
